Summary

Production Operative

Location: Salford
⏰ Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm / Friday 6am – 11:30am
Pay: £14.88 per hour (rising to £15.40 after 12 weeks)
Contract: Long-Term Temporary (Permanent Opportunity for the Right Candidate)

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and take pride in producing high-quality work?
We’re looking for a skilled Production Operative to join a growing team in Salford, manufacturing protective covers for precision weighing scales. These covers play a crucial role in preventing spills, avoiding damage, and maintaining the accuracy and reliability of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assembly and finishing of protective covers using a range of tools including:

- Hand tools
- Routers
- Heat guns
- Stanley knives
- Scrapers

- Working to high-quality standards with strong attention to detail
- Following health & safety and quality control procedures
- Ideal Candidate:
- Confident using tools and equipment in a workshop or production setting
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Previous experience in a hands-on or practical role (e.g., production, joinery, construction, or assembly)
- Committed, reliable, and eager to learn

This is a long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate the right skills and attitude.
