Humly is working in partnership with an early years setting in Blackpool to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant for a part-time, morning role, supporting a young child within a preschool environment.
This role involves providing 1:1 support for a 3-year-old pupil, supporting their engagement, regulation and social development as they settle into the setting. The pupil presents with some dysregulated behaviours, social communication differences and repetitive play, so the school is seeking a calm, patient and nurturing educator who is confident supporting early years SEN.
The role will run for approximately 60 school days from the start date.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing 1:1 support within a preschool setting
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Encouraging social interaction and communication
Supporting play-based learning and routines
Working closely with early years staff to support settling-in
What You’ll Bring
Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs
Experience within an EYFS or early years setting (preferred)
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
Pay Structure
From £14.85 per hour

Part-time role: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–11:30am
Temporary role for approximately 60 school days
Enhanced DBS required (if required, Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
