Humly is working in partnership with a secondary school in Barnoldswick to recruit a full-time MFL Teacher for an ASAP start, continuing until July 2026.

This role will involve teaching a combination of modern foreign languages across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is seeking a committed and adaptable practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute positively to the wider department.

This is a long-term role and will be paid to scale under AWR from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

Teaching Modern Foreign Languages across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Working collaboratively with the MFL department and wider staff team
What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching MFL at secondary level
Ability to teach more than one language (e.g. French, Spanish, German)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A flexible, professional and proactive approach
Pay Structure

From £168.80 per day
(AWR applied from day one – M1–M6 depending on experience)

Important Information

Full-time role, Monday to Friday
Long-term placement from ASAP until July 2026
