You will be part of the Culture Programme team within People and Inclusion. Supporting to embed our corporate strategy EA2030, our People Strategy and transforming the way the Environment Agency Culture supports our employees and environmental outcomes.

Your role will provide essential project support, ensuring the effective planning, tracking, and reporting of milestones. You will coordinate workshops, support stakeholder engagement activities, and maintain project documentation. Collaborating closely with other direct and virtual team members, you will help drive progress and ensure the successful delivery of the Culture Programme objectives.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in an agile way to lend their skills to organisational priorities.
Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels are essential.

Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You’ll have the option to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training will be available to support you with your incident role should you choose to have one.

The team

We are a new Programme within the People and Inclusion Team in STA (Strategy, Transformation and Assurance).

Experience/skills required

You will have good knowledge and experience of project support roles, experience of developing and supporting new ways of working and building relationships quickly and effectively.



Essential;

Experience of working in a project/programme environment.

Diligent, with an eye-for-detail and visually pleasing work, through high quality reports, presentations and spreadsheets.

Have strong verbal and written communication skills, that can be adapted to a range of audiences.

An enthusiasm to provide great customer service, reacting promptly and positively to queries.

Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised. A natural organiser, you’ll manage your time to achieve tight or conflicting deadlines.

Manage multiple sources of information and be able to store, retrieve and share information when needed.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office - experience of using Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Co Pilot and SharePoint.

Desirable;

Prince 2 foundation

Experience in large-scale organisational change.

Familiarity with project management tools.
