We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established, multi-franchise approved car dealer group with several dealerships across South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join a premium franchise-approved dealership in Hay-on-Wye, working within a highly reputable, award-winning family business recognised for achieving top customer satisfaction in the UK. The role of Vehicle Technician is central to delivering high-quality service, repairs, and maintenance to our client’s valued customers.

Duties:
- Performing a variety of mechanical repairs and services, from routine maintenance to clutch replacements and engine work on cars and 4x4s
- Carrying out used vehicle prep and pre-delivery inspections in line with company standards
- Diagnosing faults accurately, documenting findings clearly, and advising on repair needs
- Following high standards of health and safety at all times
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Contributing positively to a small, collaborative team environment
Requirements:
- Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Proven workshop experience, delivering high-quality workmanship under pressure
- A team-oriented attitude and strong commitment to quality and safety
- Desirable but non-essential: active MOT licence and experience working with 4x4 vehicles
