What skills and experience we're looking for

The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support pupils learning at St Michaels C of E Primary School.

As the successful candidate, you will have a nurturing demeanour and be fully committed to promoting the needs and welfare of all children. You will be flexible, caring, and engaging, with a strong ability to adapt to the health and educational needs of every child in our school community.

You will hold a minimum GCSE qualifications in English and Maths, and have experience working as a classroom Teaching Assistant. You will have worked across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and be confident in providing learning support to children with or without additional needs.

It is essential that you can support the Christian Ethos of the school, whilst building positive relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team. Particularly in supporting children with SEN/D in a mainstream setting, which will be a key priority in your role.
