If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a class teacher. We are a three-form entry junior school in Woking, Surrey, with a strong ethos of respect and collaboration. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and a range of extracurricular activities. We have a supportive parent community that values education and works in partnership with the school.This role is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers.

As a class teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will also contribute to the development of the curriculum and the school improvement plan. You will work closely with your year group team and other colleagues to share good practice and resources. You will also benefit from regular PPA time within a team, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities. We are committed to developing our teachers through continuous professional development (CPD) and providing access to professional career development through National Professional Qualification (NPQ) programmes. For ECT applicants, we have a strong mentoring culture and positive links with other local schools.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to raising standards
• Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
• An understanding on how to support pupils with additional needs
• A positive and proactive attitude and a willingness to embrace new challenges
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• A sense of humour and a caring and nurturing approach
