What skills and experience we're looking for

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and engaging Wrap Around Care Assistant for our Breakfast Club, who will further enhance our dynamic and well-structured breakfast club routines at Ryecroft Academy.

Potential applicants should have:

• Experience of working with children and young people.
• A real passion for education and proactively promoting its importance.
• A professional, engaging and nurturing personality.

Duties include:

• Developing positive and professional relationships with parents/carers and pupils.
• Supporting pupils in safe and engaging activities.
• Upholding standards of healthy eating and table manners.
• Ensuring pupils feel safe and happy at Breakfast Club.
• Maintaining rigour around safety and adherence to the Positive Behaviour Policy.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene, supporting our pupils to have a well-established hygiene routine before and after school.
• Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are meticulously implemented.

This role represents an exciting opportunity for anyone who is eager to be a part of a nationally renowned organisation with a strong moral compass. We would expect the successful applicant to be of a mind-set where they believe anything is possible for the young people we nurture: likewise, our professional body also benefits from CPD and support that is personalised to your particular needs and experience.

• £2k Cycle to work scheme.
