What skills and experience we're looking for
Walsall Studio School is seeking reliable, professional, and vigilant individuals to join our team as Casual Exam Invigilators. This is a flexible, as‑required role supporting the school during key exam periods. As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with school guidelines and awarding body regulations. You will help create a professional, calm, and supportive environment so that all students can perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Exam Supervision
• Supervise candidates to ensure exam conditions are maintained.
• Set up examination venues, including distributing and collecting papers.
• Provide clear instructions and ensure all exam regulations are followed.
• Monitor for malpractice and handle first‑line queries appropriately.
• Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Exams Officer or Principal.
Administrative Support
• Assist with preparing exam rooms and materials.
• Help maintain accurate exam records and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all exam papers and candidate information.
Safeguarding & Compliance
• Follow all school safeguarding procedures and policies.
• Uphold a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
