You will join a friendly and committed governance team and there will be opportunities for Professional Development and Training.
The successful candidate will:
be flexible, adaptable and approachable
be able to make a positive contribution and support the Catholic Ethos of our school
be organized, self-motivated and a team player
have a positive outlook
We can offer you:
a varied and interesting role which has a positive impact on children’s education
highly skilled colleagues who work collaboratively together
a supportive, hard-working and committed team of staff and governors
The role involves providing professional support to the Governing body. We are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills, good with people and an ability to provide advice on constitutional and procedural matters. Experience in school governance preferred but specialist training can be provided for an applicant with the right administrative and people skills.
Some work will be at the school (located in central Haywards Heath) and some at home.
Please refer to the attached job description and person specification when applying; outlining why you want to apply and what skills, qualities, attributes and experience you think you can offer.
The school is committed to safer recruitment and all appointments are subject to pre-employment checks including a portable DBS check (formerly known as CRB).
The hours of work will be 7 hours per week for 38 weeks. This is an average and depends on the arrangement of meetings but flexibility will be important. Some meetings are after school hours.
