Crynodeb
The Governing body of Abbey Primary School seek to appoint a suitably qualified, caring and committed teaching assistant to work within our assessment centre for children aged 3-5 years old.
The children attending our assessment centre have complex needs – global learning difficulties, autism, severe medical needs, speech and language difficulties, visual/hearing impaired and behaviour issues.
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic about working with children, have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. You should also be flexible and able to motivate our children to succeed.Neath Port Talbot Council is totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Our schools are equally committed to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and young people and will take action to safeguard their wellbeing. The recruitment process for this post will be underpinned by rigorous safer recruitment assessment to ensure that children and young people are protected. This post is subject to an Enhanced Check from the Disclosure & Barring Service and registration with the Education Workforce Council.
