"The school is determined that pupils experience ‘the exceptional every day’, and they do." - Ofsted 2023 Stroud High School is seeking a proactive and reliable Compliance & Site Operative to join our dedicated Site Team. This is a key role in ensuring our school remains a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. While the position includes general site duties, a major focus will be supporting the Site Manager with compliance responsibilities. You will assist with scheduled compliance checks – (ie. fire alarms, emergency lighting, water hygiene) and maintain accurate digital records. Full training will be provided, so previous compliance experience is not essential, but attention to detail and a willingness to learn are crucial. You will also play an important role in audits and inspections, helping us uphold our outstanding standards. Key Responsibilities * Carry out scheduled compliance checks and maintain accurate digital records. * Support the Site Manager in meeting statutory health and safety requirements. * Assist with audits and inspections by providing up-to-date compliance documentation. * Undertake general site maintenance and security duties. * Help maintain school grounds and facilities to a high standard. * Respond promptly to hazards and report serious issues to the Site Manager. * Participate in training and professional development.
