Lunchtime SupervisorAre you passionate about working with children and supporting their well-being in a friendly and inclusive school environment? St Joseph's Catholic Primary in Fishponds is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our welcoming team.Required as soon as possible. We are now looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic person to join our friendly, hardworking lunchtime team. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our pupils have a safe, happy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience. This rewarding position offers the chance to make a real difference in the daily lives of our children. The role is term time only, Monday - Friday, 1.5 hours a day (11:45-13:15), 7.5 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities Supervising children during lunchtime to ensure their safety and well-beingSupporting children with First Aid issues promptly and effectivelyHelping children resolve conflicts calmly and fairlyEncouraging children to engage in games and activitiesAssisting children in finding friends to play with and fostering a positive social environment.Required Qualifications & ExperienceExperience working with children or in a supervisory role is desirableBasic understanding of First Aid or willingness to undertake trainingAbility to manage minor conflicts and support children’s social interactions.Desirable QualitiesFriendly, patient, and approachable mannerExcellent communication skills with children and staffA proactive and positive attitude, with a genuine commitment to child welfareAbility to work well within a supportive team environmentWhy Join St Joseph's Catholic Primary?
