Full Time - Monday - Friday

Based in Brislington - hybrid

Temporary - currently until 31st March 26

Tate are working with a local authority in their search for Technical Support Officer to deliver high‑quality technical and administrative support to both internal and external customers in their Housing Department. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring services run efficiently, teams are supported and KPI's are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning and coordinating a complex area of the housing department, managing end‑to‑end processes with confidence and accuracy.
  • Supporting operational delivery, contributing to day‑to‑day business activities and taking part in projects.
  • Handling enquiries from colleagues, partners, and the public - including escalated issues - and ensuring every interaction ends with a positive resolution.
  • Interpreting guidelines and procedures, using your judgement to find solutions and knowing when to escalate matters to your manager.
  • Working collaboratively to support service models that keep customers fully supported and ensure seamless, integrated service delivery.
  • Providing frontline customer service with colleagues, elected members, contractors, and the wider community.
