High Level Teaching Assistant – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for High Level Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Attleborough and the surrounding areas, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences and occasionally leading whole-class sessions.Duties as High Level Teaching Assistant:
  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Lead small group interventions and whole-class teaching when required
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and report to teaching staff
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal High Level Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably at HLTA level
  • HLTA qualification or willingness to work towards it
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to lead whole-class sessions confidently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
