Your new company
My client, a leading manufacturer within the life sciences sector, is seeking a professional administrator / order processor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Based from contemporary offices, you will be joining an established operations team ensuring all operations run smoothly.
Your new role
The position is being offered full time, Monday to Friday with standard office hours. Due to the nature of the role / business, the role is based fully on-site.
Please note there will be an element of manual work such as putting stock away.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to
Input customer orders into the company system, ensuring all details are correct.
Dealing with all enquiries regarding order status, tracking, and basic billing questions via email or phone Verify pricing, shipping details, and inventory levels before finalising transactions.
Physical Put-Away of stock
Coordinate with carriers for daily pickups and ensure all "Ready to Ship" statuses are updated
Maintain digital filing systems and update customer profiles.
Coordinate with the logistics team to resolve any shipping delays or inventory discrepancies.
Verify physical shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
Log incoming stock into the system to maintain inventory accuracy.
Report any damages or shortfalls to vendors and the purchasing department.
Generate packing slips, and shipping labels.
Conduct weekly spot checks to ensure the digital inventory reflects the physical shelves What you'll need to succeed
Proven history in an order processing / administration position
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong eye for detail
Used to working in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in all Microsoft packages
Passionate about going that extra mile
Excellent customer service skills
