Summary
Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Flintshire
Salary: £50,000 per annum
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and sustain efficient manufacturing processes. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products are built safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
The role:
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, including design interpretation, documentation, and specifications
- Develop and improve processes to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Design, specify, and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
- Support new product introduction from concept and design review through production launch
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and process optimisation
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for yield, build, and quality issues
- Participate in safety, risk assessment, and ergonomic reviews to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with process transfers between manufacturing sites when required
The candidate:
- HND/HNC in Engineering or equivalent required
- Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or test environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, methods, and manufacturing systems
- Experience with CAD software
- Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, or problem-solving methodologies
