Warehouse Technician | Witham, Essex | Full-Time | 40 hrs/week | Up to £31K (DOE)
Behind every unforgettable live experience is a perfectly run warehouse — and our client is looking for someone like you to help make the magic happen.
Our client delivers high-quality lighting, sound and AV solutions for entertainment venues, theatres, hotels and holiday destinations across the UK. From design and installation through to operation and maintenance, their projects are slick, professional and technically excellent — and it all starts in the warehouse.
The Warehouse Technician Role:
This is a hands-on, practical role at the heart of technical operations. As a Warehouse Technician, you’ll make sure equipment is prepped, tested, organised and ready to perform on site. You’ll work closely with technicians and project teams, playing a vital part in keeping projects running smoothly.
If you enjoy working with technical kit, staying organised, and being part of a supportive, fast-moving team — this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing, checking and packing lighting, sound and AV equipment
• Accurately booking equipment in and out of the warehouse
• Testing, cleaning and carrying out basic fault-finding
• Completing minor repairs and reporting faults or damage
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse
• Managing stock levels and supporting asset tracking
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Supporting technicians with prep and de-prep before and after projects
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with lighting, sound or AV equipment
• A practical, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Physically able to handle equipment safely
Desirable (but not essential):
• Previous warehouse or technical experience
• Basic fault-finding or electronics knowledge
• Forklift or manual handling training
What’s in It for You?
• Competitive salary (£28k - £31k, based on experience)
• Company pension
• Bonus scheme
• Free onsite parking at the Witham warehouse
• Casual dress with branded uniform provided
• Friendly, supportive team environment
• Opportunities to build technical knowledge and progress your career
What’s Next?
If you want a role where your work genuinely matters — and where great projects start before they ever reach site — this is your opportunity.
