DS McG Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Exterior Cleansing Operative to join our growing team on a permanent, part-time basis. This role is based at commercial sites in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh.
With over 20 years’ experience delivering high-quality services across Central Scotland, DS McG Ltd offers a stable and supportive working environment within a well-established and expanding company.
Working Pattern
Days: Monday to Saturday
Hours: 2.5 hours per day
Total: 15 hours per week
Worked all year round
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Litter picking shop frontages and associated landscaped areas
Emptying on-site bins and replacing liners
Sweeping and brushing shop frontages, including leaf clearance
Removing weeds from hard surfaces and shrub beds
Cleaning out of drains on site
Reporting site issues such as trip hazards, damaged drains, or other defects
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Be able to work independently
Take pride in maintaining clean and safe environments
Have previous outdoor or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
