Key Responsibilities: Assess, prepare, and care for patients before, during, and after endoscopy procedures Administer medications and assist with sedation in line with local protocols Monitor patients clinical condition, recognising and responding to changes in patient status Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support the training and development of junior staff and students within the unit Ensure compliance with infection control, health and safety, and local clinical governance standards Skills and Qualities Required: Strong clinical knowledge and experience in acute care settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering patient-centred care Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload Please refer to the Job Description for the full specification of responsibilities and requirements for this post.
