About the Role
As a Public Health Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in improving the health and well-being of communities across Gloucestershire. Working closely with the Director of Public Health, you will help deliver core public health objectives, including:
- Reducing health inequalities
- Protecting and promoting health
- Enhancing the quality of local health and social care services
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and leadership on public health priorities
- Support the development and implementation of health improvement programs
- Contribute to emergency planning and health protection measures
- Work collaboratively with local authorities, NHS partners, and community stakeholders
- Use data and evidence to inform decision-making and drive outcomes
