Here at The Best Connection we are looking for experienced 3.5t drivers to join our client based in SO30.
This role is a temp to perm with potential to get taken on full time.
Pay/Salary - £12.45 PAYE / £15.33 PAYE
Start Time - 05:00am - 07:00am
Location - Hedge End, Southampton
Shift Patterns - Working 5 out of 6, Monday to Saturday
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Driving 3.5 ton vehicles around the south coast
- Doing Multi drop deliveries in a temperature controlled van
- Delivering to commercial clients in Hospitality, Catering, Wholesale etc.
- Picking your orders you will be delivering in chilled warehouse
- All drivers will need to load their van in the order provided by the route planner
- Starting between 05:00am - 07:00am depending on the route
- Vehicle checks before and after every shift
- Reporting any issues to the shift manager
WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED:
- Clean Full UK Driving Licence
- 3.5t commercial driving experience
- Customer service skills
- Good literacy & numeracy skills
- Geographical knowledge of the South area e.g. London, Bristol
- On-site parking
- Induction training provided
- Ongoing full time work
