The Best Connection are recruiting a Part-Time Health & Safety Compliance Manager for a well-established client based in Tamworth. This is a flexible, long-term opportunity ideal for an experienced H&S professional looking for part-time hours while maintaining responsibility and influence across the business.

Pay & Working Hours

  • 20 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday (flexible working pattern - open to discussion for the right candidate)

  • £18.00 - £21.00 per hour, depending on experience

  • Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and ensure all risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place and maintained

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) systems in line with current legislation

  • Oversee day-to-day compliance across office and workshop environments

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including:

    • Health & Safety files

    • Fire Safety

    • DSEAR

    • RIDDOR

    • COSHH

    • Risk registers

  • Plan and arrange site maintenance and safety inspections

  • Deliver health & safety training and guidance to staff and site contractors

  • Oversee health surveillance for engineers and paint shop employees

Skills & Experience Required

  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent (including Fire Safety)

  • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation

  • Up-to-date knowledge and practical application of HSE best practice

  • Ability to work independently and confidently manage compliance
