This management Knowledge Transfer Partnership (mKTP) aims to develop, test, and embed a new rigorous evaluation framework to support decision-making and assess the effectiveness of service design, delivery and workforce planning for Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) so that its Community Care Collaborative (CCC) partnership model can improve patient experience and outcomes through the care they receive.
This mKTP will deliver a strategic shift in BCHC's operational model by embedding data-driven decision-making and rigorous service evaluation. The aim is to enable evidence-based service design that improves clinical outcomes and reduces health inequalities, directly supporting the NHS 10-Year Plan.
Strong interpersonal skills to successfully work with a variety of stakeholders ranging from senior NHS management, clinicians, and patients.
Strong communication and presentation skills in ways that are appropriate for the range of audiences (as above) with whom we will work throughout this project.
The ability to work within an inter-disciplinary project team.
Leadership qualities, professional judgement, good self-organisation, and time management skills to deliver agreed milestones and objectives.
Highly motivated, adaptable and ability to judge when taking the initiative is beneficial.
Ability to work independently, while maintaining productive and professional team relationships.
Demonstrate am interest in innovative approaches, adopt new technologies and new data processing methods.
Additional responsibilities:
Engage in continuous personal and professional development in line with the demands of the role, including undertaking relevant training and development activities to develop themselves and support the development of others.
Ensure and promote the personal health, safety and wellbeing of staff.
Carry out duties in a way which promotes fairness in all matters, and which engenders trust.
Promote equality of opportunity and support diversity and inclusion as well as working to support the University’s environmental sustainability agenda and practices.

Location: You will be based at BCHC in Birmingham but will have access to facilities at Aston University in central Birmingham. Some travel across the West Midlands will be required. Flexible working can be arranged.
