An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for emergency and critical care to join a busy, forward thinking practice in Rotherham. This purpose built hospital is designed to support excellence in ECC, offering an outstanding clinical environment where advanced medicine, teamwork and compassionate care come together to make a real difference when it matters most.

The practice is exceptionally well equipped, featuring up to date digital X-ray, ultrasound, a full body CT scanner and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. With three large consulting rooms, two fully equipped theatres, a spacious prep area and dedicated learning and office spaces, the hospital provides everything needed to deliver high quality, efficient emergency and critical care in a calm, professional setting.

In this role, the successful Veterinary Surgeon will play a key part in delivering outstanding ECC and critical care, managing complex cases and supporting patients through their most vulnerable moments. Working closely with a skilled and supportive clinical team, they will provide clear communication to clients, create tailored treatment plans, and uphold the highest standards of clinical and operational excellence. There is also a strong emphasis on mentorship, leadership and sharing best practice, helping to develop colleagues and contribute to a progressive clinical culture.

This position is ideally suited to a confident, RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with advanced ECC experience who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes pride in exceptional patient care. An ECC certificate would be welcomed but is not essential, as the practice is committed to supporting ongoing professional development.
