Site Manager - £34,000 Per Annum
Play a pivotal role in leading a skilled Soft FM team at Newark General Hospital. Delivering high‑quality, responsive services that meet patient, client and business expectations while driving value, compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of all soft services, ensuring high standards and a great customer experience
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement to meet performance and budget targets
- Inspire, manage and develop teams, overseeing rotas, absence, performance reviews and training
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation
- Manage service quality, audits and KPIs, resolving issues and driving improvements
- Identify and manage operational risks, supporting business continuity and emergency planning
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support service excellence
- Produce clear, accurate reports and maintain compliance documentation using CAFM and MS Office
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing soft services within a facilities or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
- Experience managing budgets and delivering operational efficiencies
- Confident user of MS Office and CAFM systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable
- Experience managing senior third‑party relationships
- Retail or facilities management background
- IOSH (or equivalent) qualification
