Job Title: Insight Analyst
Location: Parklands Office, Birmingham, Hybrid,- minimum 3 days per week in office
Role Purpose
The Insight Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting market data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and new business growth. This role plays a key part in understanding market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics. They are fundamental part of the team responsible for developing detailed plans around total addressable market and helping to identify new/future markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data on market conditions, competitors, and consumer behaviour and translating this into actionable insight for the Growth community.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate insights to varied stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Support forecasting and scenario planning based on market intelligence.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations and the Growth Leadership Team to inform strategy.
- Maintain and improve data sources and research methodologies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Effective desk-top research skills and natural curiosity.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics.
- Proficiency in data visualisation, powerpoint, excel, PowerBI and reporting tools.
Previous Experience
- 2–4 years in business analytics or a similar role.
- Experience working with datasets, market intelligence platforms, consumer data and digital marketing data.
- Exposure to FMCG, retail, or consumer goods/service sectors (preferred).
