Up to £125 per day | Long Term Role (Temp to Perm)

Long Term Futures are recruiting a dedicated SEMH Mentor to support students in a secondary school setting in Wandsworth, working with pupils who require additional social, emotional and pastoral support.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role is ideal for someone confident working with young people who need consistent mentoring, emotional regulation support and positive role modelling to help them re-engage with education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group SEMH and pastoral support across KS3 and KS4
- Support students with emotional regulation, resilience and behaviour management
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students
- Implement support strategies and contribute to individual support plans
- Work closely with pastoral teams, SEN staff and teaching staff
- Support students during lessons, interventions and unstructured times

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH or pastoral needs
- A calm, consistent and empathetic approach
- Confidence working in a secondary school environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Background in mentoring, youth work, SEN or pastoral roles (desirable)
