Rotherham Extra Care Housing is part of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and aims to support its tenants to live independently as possible in a community setting 24/7.
It supports people over 55 to live independently within their own home in one of our 3 schemes across the Rotherham borough. The tenants we support have different levels of housing, care, and support needs.
We are looking to recruit an enabler, 126 hrs per month working 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next over a 8-week rota, starting at 21:45 hrs to 07:15 hrs. In the event of staff shortage, you will be required to be flexible and willing to adapt to the rota which may occasionally include day/afternoon shifts between the hours of 07:00 hrs and 22:00 hrs.
You will be provided with a uniform and potentially work across all 3 schemes which are based in Swinton Herringthorpe and Stag area. The service operates from 24/7 service 365 days a year to include bank holidays and weekends, working on a rota basis.
The successful applicant will be joining a supportive and motivated team who value learning and development working closely in partnership with Together Housing. A full induction and training is provided as well as regular supervision and team meetings.
