We’re on the lookout for a Touring Warden Assistant to join our friendly team for the 2026 season, looking after our camping and touring fields in Croyde, North Devon. The site includes over 350 pitches across the park.
We’re advertising early to find the right fit, with interviews taking place between now and January 2026. The successful candidate(s) will start in mid February 2026, ready for the season ahead.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on seasonal position that would suit someone with previous experience in a camping or touring park environment. No two days are the same.
Key duties include:
Welcoming and checking in guests, showing them to their pitch
Managing bookings and guest requirements using our system
Creating welcome packs and maintaining accurate pitch records
Grass cutting and general site presentation
Ensuring facilities are clean and well-maintained
Handling any guest issues or complaints efficiently
Carrying out basic maintenance tasks where possible
What We Offer
£12.30 per hour
Weekly pay every Friday
Discounts on-park and across our holiday locations
We are currently looking to fill a full-time position (40hpw) and a part-time position (16hpw), both will include working weekends and bank holidays. During peak periods, there will be opportunities for overtime as the business requires.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has prior experience in a warden or similar guest-facing park role
Is practical, approachable and enjoys problem-solving
Can work efficiently under pressure during peak season
Is flexible, proactive and happy to get stuck in with all aspects of park life
You’ll typically work 8–10 hours a day on a rota basis, with 2 days off each week.
