Job Overview
Are you ready to leap into an exciting and varied role in a fast-paced food and beverage operation!

We’re looking for a fresh team, who are passionate and motivated to deliver great customer service. You will need to be naturally engaging, confident and outgoing with the ability to have authentic and genuine conversations with our guests. You’ll be intuitive with customers needs and know what it takes to go the extra mile, concentrating on every little detail to deliver an exceptional service.

Ruda has multiple food and beverage offerings over different venues, and as such can offer hours to suit most, and a varied working environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their visit
Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces
Restock bar supplies and ensure all stock is stored correctly and safely
Upsell premium drinks or special offers to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Assist in food preparation or service when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in order taking and presentation
Experience with food preparation or culinary activities is a bonus but not mandatory
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required by the business schedule
