Education Management (25%) Working with the wider MDT within Medical Education to effectively plan for student placements Student pastoral support Clinical Activity The consultant ward rounds give opportunity for feedback and teaching and the post easily allows completion of the required portfolio assessments. Fortnightly vascular specific teaching is consultant-led with trainee involvement, with opportunities for junior doctors to present. There are additional weekly general surgical and urology teaching sessions. Monthly Mortality and Morbidity meetings are an excellent opportunity for presentations, clinical notes review and are a good learning environment.
