CTSI, boasting a rich legacy of safeguarding consumers for 144 years, stands as an ambitious professional membership organisation. Fuelled by the perspectives of our members and a resolute sense of purpose, we broaden our impact through the diverse range of services we provide to Trading Standards professionals and businesses across the UK.
We are seeking a proactive results-driven marketer with a sharp eye for commercial impact to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover contract to 31 December 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to lead insight-led campaigns that deliver measurable growth and strong return on investment.
You’ll be responsible for planning and executing multichannel marketing campaigns that support the growth of our products, services, and events. From selecting the most effective channels to crafting persuasive content, you’ll ensure every activity is commercially effective.
We are looking for proven experience across the full marketing mix, with a focus on commercial performance and ROI, the ability to use market insight and data to optimise campaigns for maximum impact, strong copywriting skills and a creative approach to audience engagement, knowledge of digital marketing channels including PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to time and budget.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, data-driven, and passionate about delivering marketing that makes a measurable difference.
CTSI has embraced remote and flexible working with IT and DSE equipment provided. We are hybrid with our Head Office in Basildon, Essex, and expectations are for all staff to attend for mandatory meetings. There may be occasions where other travel is necessary but this will be communicated in advance.
We would love to hear from you, even if you don't have all the listed experience or skills; you might bring something valuable we haven't even considered!
Benefits include:
- Flexi-time, hybrid working, working abroad policy
- Minimum 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Christmas shut down, paid volunteer days
- Increased pension contribution
- EDI and family friendly policies
- Training and Membership funding
