An exciting opportunity for a Car Dealership Accountant within the Ashford area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client.
Working within a well-established car dealership, the successful Car Dealership Accountant will be well versed in providing an exceptional accounting service.

- Basic salary of £45,000 plus performance bonuses

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Assistant Accountant or Accountant within a dealership environment
- Familiarity with CDK/Kerridge systems highly preferred
- Strong understanding of dealership accounts and financial reporting
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work accurately under pressure
- Knowledge of current financial regulations and best practices in automotive finance
Duties:
- Managing and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Vehicle Accounts Department
- Producing accurate management accounts to group timescale
- Financial reporting
- Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed in line with group procedures
