Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Nursing Home – Night Shifts
The nursing home combines high-quality, luxurious facilities with a warm atmosphere. Nights are focused on maintaining residents’ comfort, safety, and wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on clinical care and professional nursing standards. You will use your experience to manage medications, monitor health, and respond to resident’s needs, as part of a small, skilled night team.
Before You Apply

- Current NMC registration as RGN or RMN is required.
- Recent experience in a nursing home setting is essential.
- This position is not suitable for newly qualified nurses.
Key Job Details
- Hourly Rate: £21, paid breaks included
- Shifts: Night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Setting: Nursing home for older adults with nursing and dementia care needs

What You’ll Need
- Current NMC registration as RGN or RMN
- Proven experience in nursing older adults, in a nursing home setting
- Confidence making clinical decisions and managing overnight risk
- Calm, professional, and empathetic approach to care
- Ability to work independently and prioritise residents’ safety
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, person-centred nursing care during the night
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing
- Administer medication and treatments following best practice
- Respond calmly to incidents or emergencies
- Maintain accurate documentation and handovers to day staff
- Create a secure, reassuring environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with families and colleagues to maintain standards
