Main Duties & Responsibilities
New Business Development: Identify and close new B2B sales leads, including corporate catering accounts, wholesale bakery contracts (cafes, delis, shops), and large-scale event partnerships.
Relationship Management: Act as the dedicated point of contact for existing high-value clients, ensuring high retention rates and identifying opportunities for "upselling" (e.g., adding bakery platters to a regular lunch order).
Catering Coordination: Work with the Kitchen and Operations teams to ensure large catering orders are executed perfectly and delivered on time.
Wholesale Strategy: Lead the push to get Wonda’s specialty bakery items (Hardo bread, spice buns, patties) stocked in local independent grocery stores and retail chains.
Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales targets, pipeline health, and revenue growth using CRM software.
Tasting & Pitching: Organize and lead "tasting sessions" for potential corporate clients or retail buyers to showcase the quality and authenticity of our menu.
Qualifications & Skills Required
The Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, specifically within the food, beverage, or hospitality industry.
The Closer: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and "opening doors" with cold-outreach.
Networker: Ideally, someone with an existing network of corporate contacts, event planners, or retail buyers in the [Insert Region] area.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to pitch the "Wonda Story" with passion and professionalism.
Organization: Strong project management skills to juggle multiple catering contracts and delivery schedules simultaneously.
