Job Type: 3 month locum contract with a view to extend
Shifts: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, part or full time hours considered
About the Role:
HCRG Staffing are looking for a Band 6 or Band 7 Physiotherapist to work in Wandsworth, Sotuh London for an NHS service.
Our client is looking for an Physiotherapist who has experience of carrying a caseload of service users with complex and diverse needs in a mental health setting. Must also have NHS experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- To support the head of physiotherapy, providing professional leadership for physiotherapy within the Trust.
- To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of physiotherapy services, working towards improved service quality across the Trust
- To manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using advanced clinical reasoning and skills to provide specialised diagnosis, advice and treatment.
- To undertake advanced, holistic physiotherapy assessments and formulate comprehensive treatment plans for service users with complex mental health and physical health problem
Who We Are Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Physiotherapy
- Licenses: HCPC registered
- Experience: 2 years+ experience. Must have NHS and mental health experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience when working with vulnerable individuals. Ability to use own initiative to provide information and support to other staff
