About the Role:
HCRG Staffing are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in Nottingham, East Midlands for a local authority / Council working in an adult social care team.
Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience Adult Social Care. Also, experience of assessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment, single handed care, reviewing and reducing packages of care. Ideal experience of liquid logic but not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, maintaining responsibility for own caseload without direct supervision
- To manage clinical risk within own patient caseload and environment
- Assessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment, single handed care, reviewing and reducing packages of care.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licenses: HCPC registered
- Experience: 2 years experience. Experience in Adult Social Care
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience when working with vulnerable individuals. Ability to use own initiative to provide information and support to other staff
