Summary
We are currently recruiting an Approved Electrician to join our growing team. This Approved Electrician role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong industrial experience who takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality electrical installations. As an Approved Electrician, you will work to strict industry regulations and safety standards, using your technical expertise to complete projects efficiently. The successful Approved Electrician will be confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Approved Electrician seeking long-term stability and career progression.
Responsibilities
• Install electrical systems in an industrial setting
• Carry out electrical inspections and testing to ensure regulatory compliance
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards
• Maintain accurate records, including reports and certifications
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and colleagues to deliver projects successfully
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 2391 Inspection, Testing, and Certification (or equivalent)
• AM2 qualification
• ECS Gold Card (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an electrician
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• 40 hours per week
• Monday–Thursday: 7am–4pm
• Friday: 7am–1pm (early finish)
• Closed on Bank Holidays
• Christmas shutdown until after the New Year
