Job Title: Self-employed head PA-care

Hours: Monday – Friday (hours to be discussed)
Job Description:
I am a young man and I have a neurological condition called Friedreich’s Ataxia. It means that I am wheelchair bound and struggle with everyday activities such as washing, dressing, preparing meals and going to the toilet. I also have limited vocal ability however I am able to communicate and conversate well. I have full cognitive function.
I’m looking for a head PA to assist me. Support will include: everyday tasks, assisting with eating and drinking, giving of medication, exercise, and going out into the community alongside managing appointments, assisting with emails, ordering of medication, making sure all needs are met and being an extension of my voice plus driving me to appointments.
this will be a 2-1 position as my needs have changed so looking for someone who works well in pairs
Experience in care is essential however full training will be provided due to the complexity of my needs. You must have a full uk driving licence and be able to drive a manual car.
Any applications are subject to a DBS check, receipt of two references and checking the legal right to live and work in the U.K.
