Crynodeb
To conduct comprehensive assessments and use advanced clinical reasoning to formulate diagnoses, prognoses, and personalised treatment goals for patients with complex conditions. To select, implement, and adapt specialised physiotherapy interventions, including manual techniques, therapeutic handling, electrotherapy, exercise programmes, and use of appliances, ensuring patient safety at all times. To maintain accurate, timely, and professional patient records and reports in line with HPC and CSP regulations, reflecting assessment, treatment, and progress. To be able to correctly identify inappropriate referrals to Physiotherapy and have the confidence to refer on or back as required. To manage and prioritise a challenging caseload independently, including providing emergency assessment and treatment for critically ill inpatients and participating in on-call, weekend, and 7-day service duties. To contribute to departmental projects and patient education initiatives, supporting improvements in care delivery and enhancing patient experience (e.g., creating informative resources or supporting training activities).
