KPI Education is working in partnership with highly regarded mainstream primary and secondary schools across London to recruit outstanding Graduate Learning Support Assistants for immediate start positions. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for ambitious graduates who wish to apply their academic knowledge in a professional school setting while supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering focused 1:1 and small-group support to enable pupils to access the curriculum.
• Working collaboratively with the SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals.
• Supporting the implementation of EHCP strategies and personalised learning plans.
• Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
• Contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.

This role offers exceptional exposure to SEN provision within mainstream education and is highly regarded by postgraduate training providers.

Person Specification

We are seeking a high-calibre graduate who:

• Holds a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group or top-tier university in Psychology or a closely related subject.
• Demonstrates a strong and genuine interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
• Is empathetic, patient, resilient, and professional.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).

Please note that prior school-based experience is not required, as full support and guidance will be provided.
