Lead the operational strategy that keeps our energy networks safe, stable and efficient
Based at Ansty, with travel to Leicester Site (3 days a week in the office)
As a Senior Control Engineer in our Energy Control Centre (ECC), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our gas transportation network. This isn’t just about monitoring flows or reacting to events – it’s about shaping operational strategy, coordinating access to the network, and providing expert engineering leadership in a fast-moving, high-responsibility environment.
Working at the heart of the ECC, you’ll apply your technical knowledge, operational experience and calm decision-making to keep energy flowing for over 11 million customers. You’ll influence stakeholders across the business, guide operational teams, and ensure our plans, responses and processes are robust, safe and future-ready.
This is a highly visible and influential role where your engineering judgement will directly shape how Cadent manages its network today – and how we evolve it for tomorrow.
