We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are a busy department open Monday to from Friday, where we look after patients attending for treatments & supporting them through their cancer journey, using systemic anti-cancer treatments and radiotherapy.
The work is primarily running clinics but Phlebotomy, management and care of CVAD's are also involved, for which training can be provided and undertaking ECGs and other directed clinical and support tasks . Computer skills would also be helpful.
Applicants need to poses an Apprenticeship Level 3 in Health or NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.
In addition, you will receive a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £ 5,941 per annum pro rata.

Assist the registered nurses in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive treatments.
Work collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Ensure that the role enhances the smooth running of the unit by proactively undertaking tasks within own scope of responsibility and supporting task undertaken by the trained staff as necessary.
Participate in the development of self and others.
Performingphysiologicalobservations,ECG'sandpersonalcare.
