We are looking for a Logistics Team Leader to join Team OB in our Warehouse here in Chessington.

35 hours, Monday to Friday

Mon (7:00am-16:00pm) Tues (7:00am-16:00pm) Wed (7:00am-16:00pm) Thurs (7:00am-16:00pm) and Fri (7:00am-16:00pm)

As a Logistics Team Leader at OB you will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles and coordinating the Drivers and the schedules for the delivery of all OB product from the warehouse to our stores and customers.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will work in collaboration to motivate and inspire the Driving team to provide a smooth delivery service for our customers

Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo.

More about the role

An OB Logistics Team Leader will:

• Organise the delivery schedules for all OB stores.

• Liaise with third party transport providers to assist with out of London store deliveries and PR events.

• Review and continuously improve the delivery schedules, ensuring efficiency and accommodating seasonal changes.

• Work with the Operations team to organise the logistics for new store openings.

• Plan the driver’s rota and vehicle resource to ensure all delivery schedules are achieved in a timely fashion.

• Positively create an inclusive environment for your team to thrive

• Organise the Driver teams ID for delivery to secure sites (Network Rail)

• Hold monthly department meetings with your team to keep them updated on wider business information and department specific updates.

• Complete progress chats and appraisals with all Team Members

• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new Team Members

Carry out investigations, recorded conversations and attend disciplinary hearings when required.

• Create statistical data presentations for our company monthly stat pack.

• Oversee all vehicle servicing, MOT and regular safety checks.

• Organise fleet maintenance and repair work with local suppliers.

• Ensure the fleet is always legally compliant.

• Submit monthly expense reports associated with managing the fleet.
