Summary

Job Title Support worker – JOB SHARE
About the service user
Part time live in support required for a 92 year old lady who is a power chair user due to leg amputation, she lives with arthritis, type 2 diabetes and COPD her breathing can make her anxious.

H’s hearing is not as it used to be.

H is a smoker, she is happy to smoke outside when the weather permits or by the open door.

H loves crafting & drawing, she also enjoys watching soaps and nature programmes.

H’s family are very important to her.


Hours and rate of Pay
Live in 8am Friday – 8am Monday (42 hours) paid @ £12.21 + 3 sleep ins (10pm – 8am) paid at £40 per night. Working every other week alongside another PA.

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.





What you would be doing…
Support with all daily living tasks…
Personal care
Medication and using her nebulizer morning and evening.
Meals & drinks
Maintaining the home environment completing household chores.
Supporting with safe transfers using a Molift.


The person I would like…
If you have experience of supporting others that is preferred, this lady is looking for PA’s who have a genuine interest in providing high quality care, supporting her to feel safe and comfortable.

Someone who is kind, reliable, committed, honest & trustworthy.

Good spoken/understanding of English is essential to aid communication.

Flexibility to cover colleagues absences sickness/annual leave.

If you have similar interests that would be great but of course, not essential.
