Commercial & Management Accountant
At Leeds Bradford Airport, accurate financial management of airline income and operating costs is essential to keeping the
airport running smoothly. As Commercial & Management Accountant, you will take ownership of accounting, forecasting, and
commercial financial analysis for airline income, ensuring commercial performance is correctly recorded and effectively supported.

You’ll be joining one of the UK’s fastest-growing regional airports, committed to employing high-quality people who share our
dedication to excellent service. Living our values to Be the Best, Work as One Team, and Do the Right Thing, you will help make
sure commercial decisions are grounded in reliable financial information, supporting the wider airport to operate efficiently and
effectively.

What your Day-to-Day will Feel Like
In this role, 80% of your time will see you will take ownership of the accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis of airline
income and key operating costs, ensuring the airport has accurate and reliable financial information at all times. You will manage
month-end accounting and reporting, monitor variances, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, while providing finance support
to commercial teams and other stakeholders.

The remaining 20% of the role will involve acting as a Financial Business Partner. In this capacity, you will work closely with
budget holders and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure forecasts and budgets are accurate, and that revenues and costs
are effectively monitored and controlled. You will be expected to address issues as they arise, and implement solutions. Through
your work, you will make sure that the financial processes that underpin airport operations run smoothly, consistently, and in
line with both internal controls and contractual requirements.

What’s in it for You

· Salary: up to £50,000, reflecting the responsibility of managing key finance processes for the airport.

· Hours & Working Pattern: Full-time, with a standard working week and flexibility to support operational needs. Hybrid
working is offered to provide a balance between office-based tasks, working with teams across the airport and working from home.

· Training & Development: Access to professional development, including finance system training, internal workshops, and
cross-department exposure.

· Unique Experience: Work in a high-profile role at a fast-growing regional airport, where you are trusted to take
ownership of key finance processes, manage responsibilities independently, and contribute directly to the airport’s commercial
success.

What We’re Looking For

reporting, and control.
* Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
* Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
