Crynodeb
We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to work as part of the psychological interventions staffing and the wider MDT in North East Cumbria CTT. The focus of this post will be supporting the qualified Psychological Therapists to provide assessment, formulation and interventions for a range of mental health difficulties. In addition to direct contact with service users in person, remotely or on the telephone, there would be a range of indirect experience in MDT working via pathway and complex case meetings. You would also be required to carry out various other clinical aspects of the role, and complete documentation on Rio. It is also expected that the post holder will contribute to service development projects and audit within the team, as required. The duties and role may change and evolve due to ongoing service demands but there will be clear tasks/objectives/projects and ongoing supervision from qualified psychology staffing to support the role. It is essential that you hold an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology (or equivalent as recognised by the BPS). Service specific training - Staff will attend a range of statutory and mandatory training applicable to all staff in the Trust. In addition, we are supportive of ongoing CPD/ training needs specific to the role and area. Additional skills and competencies and duties required to fulfil the role - You may also be expected to undertake training and implementation of audit and service evaluation and other related health activity.
