Early Years Practitioner (Full Time)
Location: Guildford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (52 weeks per year)
Salary: £24,000-£26,000
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join one of our nursery client at a well-established nursery in Guildford area. This full-time role involves supporting the day-to-day running of a class and delivering high-quality education and care for children aged birth to 5 years in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high standards of childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Promote the welfare, safety and development of all children, with safeguarding as a priority.
Support children with additional needs and work closely with parents and external professionals.
Contribute to planning engaging activities, including indoor and outdoor free-flow learning.
Work collaboratively within a small team, maintaining professional standards at all times.
Use digital learning journals and “planning in the moment” approaches to support children’s progress.
About You:
Passionate about early years education and child-centred practice.
Knowledgeable about safeguarding, equality and diversity.
Flexible, proactive and committed to ongoing professional development.
Able to work within nursery opening hours (8:00am–6:00pm).
Additional Information:
Appointment is subject to a clear DBS check and two satisfactory references.
Six-month probationary period with regular supervision meetings.
Training opportunities provided, including safeguarding and professional development.
