Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Production Planner.
We are a leading hair and beauty brand manufacturing company known for our innovative, high-quality products and dedication to customer satisfaction. With over 40 years of experience working with the best people in the industry we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our team.
This role will suit a forward-thinking candidate with experience in planning and a good understanding of MRP processes. To be successful in this role you will bring expertise and know how in the following areas;
Role and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of weekly production plans balancing customer demand with manufacturing capacity.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, purchasing and sales teams to align supply with demand
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to resolve delays, capacity issues and be responsive to changing priorities.
• Support weekly planning meetings by positively highlighting and addressing potential risks to production plan.
• Prepare and present regular reports on agreed KPIs
• Assist with ad-hoc duties, as required.
Knowledge & Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in production planning preferably in a FMCG environment
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor desirable) and Microsoft packages.
• You will need to be a self-motivated individual with good time management and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Must be happy to work onsite 5 days per week
